For dogs who take their chewing seriously. Mighty Marrows are hand-poured collagen dental chews made in Canada, designed to be enjoyed over multiple supervised sessions. They start firm, then gradually soften as saliva hydrates the collagen, creating a flexible texture that works around the teeth. The chewing action helps mechanically clean teeth and remove food debris.

Ingredients

Made with gelatin, collagen, natural colours and flavourings, and salt, Mighty Marrows contain no rawhide, glycerine or artificial dyes.

Each chew is made from one protein source.

Bacon contains pork collagen;
Beef Liver and Spirulina Beef contain beef collagen.

Natural colour and flavour ingredients include black carrot extract and spirulina, depending on flavour.

Sizing

Small: approximately 10.2 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, suitable for dogs under 7kg.

Large: approximately 15.2 cm long and 3.8 cm wide, suitable for dogs above 7kg.

As these chews are hand-poured, measurements may vary slightly.

Choosing the right chew depends on more than weight alone. Consider your dog’s size, mouth size, chewing style, age and dental history when selecting a Mighty Marrow.

Age Guidance

Mighty Marrows can be enjoyed by dogs at many ages and life stages, provided they have healthy teeth and the chew is appropriate for their size and chewing style.

For puppies, senior dogs, or dogs with sensitive, damaged or compromised teeth, choose chews carefully and speak with your veterinarian if you’re unsure whether a firm chew is appropriate.

Care & Safety

  • Always supervise your dog while chewing.
  • Choose a size appropriate for your dog, mouth size and chewing style.
  • Start with approximately 30-minute chewing sessions. Mighty Marrows are high-protein chews designed to be enjoyed over multiple sessions.
  • Remove the chew before it becomes overly soft or gummy.
  • Allow it to air-dry completely between sessions.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • When the chew becomes too small to safely continue chewing, remove it— but don’t toss it. Save the end to make a collagen puff!
  • Do not offer to dogs with damaged, sensitive or compromised teeth.
  • Not every chew is suitable for every dog.

Care tip: As collagen softens, a small amount of residue may transfer to your dog’s chin, paws or nearby surfaces. Chew holders or a designated blanket can help keep cleanup simple. Wipe any fresh residue away with a warm, damp cloth.

Wag & Bright Mighty Marrows collagen dental chews

Hard at first. Softer as they work.

Mighty Marrows gradually soften as your dog chews.

Saliva hydrates the collagen, creating a softer, flexible texture that moves around the teeth during chewing. This action helps provide mechanical cleaning, supporting the removal of food debris and plaque buildup.

Prefer a softer chew? Place one end in warm water for approximately 1 minute to pre-soften the outer layer before giving it to your dog. This can also help release more flavour and encourage pups who may be unsure of the chew at first.

The useful questions.

What is a Mighty Marrow made from?

Gelatin, collagen, natural colour and flavours specific to each chew, and salt. Bacon uses pork collagen. Beef Liver and Spirulina Beef use beef collagen.

Which flavour should I choose if my dog has a food allergy?

Each chew is made from one protein source.

  • Avoiding beef? You can go for: Bacon.
  • Avoiding pork? You can go for: Beef Liver and Spirulina.
How long does one chew last?

That depends on your dog and their chewing style. Mighty Marrows are designed for multiple supervised sessions, not a guaranteed number of hours. Start with approximately 30 minutes and remove before it becomes overly soft or gummy.

Can puppies or senior dogs have one?

Yes, as long as they have healthy teeth and the chew is appropriate for their size and chewing style.

If your dog has sensitive, damaged or compromised teeth, choose chews carefully and speak with your veterinarian if you’re unsure whether a firm chew is appropriate.

Will it make a mess?

As collagen softens, a small amount of residue may transfer to your dog’s chin, paws or nearby surfaces. Chew holders or a designated blanket can help keep cleanup simple. Wipe any fresh residue away with a warm, damp cloth.

What's a collagen puff, and how can I make it?

Once your dog reaches the end of their Mighty Marrow, we recommend removing it before it becomes small enough to potentially be swallowed whole. Instead of throwing the end piece away, save it to make a collagen treat!

With a little moisture and gentle heat, the Mighty Marrow transforms into a light, crunchy, collagen-rich puff that's a fun new texture for your dog to enjoy.

If you're using an oven:

Soak it in warm water for 10 minutes.

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C.
  2. Place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  3. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and lightly golden brown.
  4. Allow the puff to cool completely.
  5. Break into appropriately sized pieces for your dog and serve as an occasional treat.

Every oven heats a little differently, so baking times may vary. Check the puffs regularly during the last few minutes of baking to prevent overcooking or burning. If the puff begins to brown or burn, reduce the cooking time during your next attempt.

If you're using a microwave:

  1. Soak it in warm water for 10 minutes.
  2. Place it on a microwave-safe plate lined with parchment paper.
  3. Microwave on high for approximately 60 seconds. If preparing multiple pieces at once, additional heating time may be needed. Microwave in additional 10-second increments until each piece is fully puffed.
  4. Allow the puff to cool completely.
  5. Break the puff into appropriately sized pieces for your dog, then let them enjoy!

Every microwave is different, so cooking times may vary slightly. The puff should be fully expanded and dry to the touch. If needed, continue microwaving in 10-second intervals, checking after each interval to avoid overheating.
